About Bapsfontein

Bapsfontein is a rural community on the outskirts of Gauteng, South Africa. A small town with a big heart, with friendly people, magificent outdoor settings and, of course, home to the newly revamped Bapsfontein Hotel.

Bapsfontein lies within the Elandsvlei Conservancy. It boasts a vast range of birds, small mammals and bull frogs.

Centered between Benoni, Bronkhorstspruit, Kempton Park, Delmas and the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, Bapsfontein is a busy intersection for both business and holiday travellers. It also lies on a route well-known to bikers and cyclists.

The Tweefontein Shopping Centre offers a supermarket, butchery, coffee shop with a take-away section, hardware and antique shop, hairdresser and beautician, and a clothing shop. In the town centre, there is another supermarket, as well as various other shops. There are also 2 fueling stations in Bapsfontein, as well as a post office.

Bapsfontein also has a few churches that are actively involved in the community. There is a number of schools within a 20 km radius.
